Barbara
Have you tried calling directory enquiries and asking for orange mobile. There is and i've called it before, but i can't remember the number, a national number. If you have sighted help, they may be a phone number on the paperwork that came with the mobile. alternatively, maybe someone local to you who is orange may be able to get past the barracades via their number. I know they'll say its for their number, but once they get through they could explainon your behalf or pass the phone to you. technology sometimes gets in the way of common sense, and i think this is one of them, good luck.

Brian

Trying to find that number on their Website. All I've found so far are mobile numbers for calling from other phones, but first thing they ask for is your Orange number. Shall keep searching.

Hi Barbara
Maybe, it may be because the cards aren't activated. There should be a way of getting to orange as if you were a new customer from a landline.

I bought a wireless weather station a while ago which gives many readings
and outputs to Excel.
Available from one of the amateur radio dealers
Martin Lynch and Sons in Chertsey.

Sorry for the off topic item. Can anyone point me to a web site that sells
talking wireless beromitors?
