I use Outlook and always have done. There's just so much available within
Outlook. Calander for alerted appointments be it a birthday or doctor's
appointment. When such an appointment occurs, a window will appear on
your
monitor and a sound of your choice will alert you to the appointment you
have entered. Outlook Notes, which is just invaluable if someone calls
you
on the phone and you need an immediate notepad opened in front of you.
Control 5 plus control N and its there. Or you can use Notes to store
your
guide dogs's food ordering processes or Nod32 seriel number or Misc
phone
number or even a URL link. Open a note, type in a few words and Control
F4
the window and it is still saved! How cool is that. Contacts can be
simple
or complex depending on your need. You can have birthday's, wife's name
and
cell number, son's name and cell, your place of work and phone number,
favourite pub and pub manager, website, email address, etc. Moving
Outlook
PST files from one computer to another is so simple, too. It copies your
email addresses, your notes, your calander, your inbox and sub folders
and
can be done in a snap. I think the process of copying your pst files is
so
easy that you will back it up often. Message rules are simple to use, I
have
Access-uk filters to go to the Access-UK folder. SoundForge to go to the
SoundForge folder, The Boys to go to my son's folder, Suzanne to go to my
wife's folder. Musicians to go to the Musicians folder etc, and SPAM to
go
where its supposed to go. I very much like the control you have over
Outlook
and the fact that it is more secure than OE. You can also use Window Eyes
6.1 to read your emails automatically if you put Jaws in sleep mode for
Outlook, saves all that say all nonsense. I think Window Eyes 6.1 has
improved a great deal in this regard. I couldn't possibly go back to
Outlook
Express.
