[access-uk] outlook express problem

Hello,
I am wondering if anyone can help me solved my problem with outlook express.
When in my inbox it does not tell me if my messages are read! or unread!
when arrowing up and down the list.
Don't no how this happened but would really appreciate it if anyone out
there can help me
