Thanks Tom, yes the files and folders are in the recycle bin. I am not
sure
what to do next. There is a restore button in properties but that isn't
doing
anything. What next please?

Hi Ron,
Look in the Recycle Bin for files like Inbox.bak as they normally end up
there if you've compressed them by mistake.
All your other mail folders will probably be there with the .bak
extension added to them.
