  Yes, this is correct, why not try it for yourself. I'll send you an atatch 
off-group, it will have a song in it, doubt you'll like it, but just save it in 
outlook express, go find it, then open it, bobs your uncle.  You can delete it 
off the server and the next day, go find it in your folder, the proof is in the 
doing and I'd never tell anyone to do something I can't do!  Christine.

    Oh wow, so once Hannah has saved the e-mail on her file system, she can 
still save the attachment, even though the e-mail's deleted from the server? I 
know the message itself get saved, but didn't know attachments would be there 
too, so thanks for that!

      Hannah, if its an email, just save it as you may normally save your 
emails, probably in an outlook express folder under his name?  Your atatchment 
will be there then for ever if you want, just make sure its gone where you want

save  attachments nothing came up save to or browse to where i wanted it to go.
