need, I am going to Torquay as I need to pick up an internet
dongle for my laptop, I am looking at free.com as they have
a good deal. Thanks.

Hi Adrian,
You'll find Staples and Currys/PC-World at the Riviera Way
end of Hele Road - There's a McDonalds around there too if
you get hungry. (Smile)

the area where I am going, I know argus is there, not sure
what other big shops, I am going to Torquay the first day so

H Adrian,
I believe you mean "Targus". You will find their wide range
of what they call "clamshells" here, but there are many
more.
http://www.targus.com/uk/clamshells-toploaders
I do know that here in Northampton, both Staples and
Currys/PC World have some of them on display, but being so
popular they are in many other retail shops.
George.

Hi Jacky
A backpack is no good to me because of being in a
wheelchair, I wouldn't be able to wear it. one with a handle
is what I need, I have a laptop bag here but it is far too
bulky and big to tuck into my holdall when I travel on the
plane being limited to space. As long as it accommodates the
laptop that is all I need, I have the skin I got for it but
it doesn't give it much protection. I will look in Devon
when I visit next month as I don't get to the shops much
here so need to be able to see what I am buying. The one I
had was very compact, it just had enough room in it for the
laptop and cables, I think it was by tardas, not sure.

Adrien

Hi Adrien
Do you want a back-pack, or one with a handle? There are
literally hundreds of bags on the market. I have a lovely
bag that Martin bought me a few years ago which is on wheels
and has a nice long telescopic handle with good padding
inside it for the laptop and a compartment for accessories.
I have taken this one to Scotland because it is good to go
in the cabin with me.
I also have a nice Kipling back-pack which has a laptop
compartment in it. I use this one for carrying my
note-taker and other stuff when I need to. The straps are
padded and the part that goes against my back is also padded
which is crucial for me because of the surgery I have had
there.
You could check out outlets like Amazon, PC World, Currys or
whatever equivalents you have in France.
Good luck.
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown
