Hi Darren, Yep, they do make the destinction on the visuaide website but, it's not too clear which is which though. They tend to refer to the newer VRC as expected than the old one. Thanks though as, I was looking at the download page I couldn't make out which firmware update to go for. Now I've looked at the product list, I'm guessing I've got 100VC model number. thanks again, Justin ----- Original Message ----- From: Darran Ross To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, June 13, 2005 4:13 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: original Victor reader classic current firmware version On the manufacturers website they do make the distinction between the two types of classic, those with knobs and those without. The latest firmware version, 3.7 I think, does indeed have a specific download on their website. BTW: this is from memory, but I'm 99% sure I've remembered this correctly. I'm trying to locate the updated firmware version. However, one problem. I'm using the original model, the one with the knobs as opposed to the dual bottons. I've no idea the actual model number of this type of VRC 100VC 101VC or 102VC. However, it's an old model i can tell you. My current firmware version is 2.2.4. Does the new firmware version apply to this old model? I know the new firmware version is 2.3.56. any advice would be great. thanks.
