Thanks Douglas and Malcolm - nothing to worry about then - it's not the
easiest programme to figure out, but it seems to have scanned 59 thousand
files, and reports no viruses, but I'm not sure if it's scanned the whole
system, or just files!

Andy,
I get several of these locked file messages each time I do a scan. Initially I was worried
about this, but a telephone call to Eset Tech Support convinced me that it is perfectly
normal although I cannot now remember all the technical details.
Hope this helps,
Douglas

Hi all -
Still trying to get to grips with nod32 when it do a manual scan. I'm never quite sure w2hen it's finished, as when I look under log, it says some scanned are finished, others are cleaning, others still are waiting!!!
In another window, it tells me that c:\document and settings\andy\localServices\ntuser.bat - error opening(file locked) [4]
Anybody know if this locked file is a problem, or is it right that nod32 can't scan it?
Andy
