Hi,
Yes. Also he could install an app called Jaws Quick Keys. What this does
is when you press any Jaws hotkey, Window-Eyes will tell you its equivalent
in Window-Eyes, if you see what I mean.
As an example, if you press Insert-Up Arrow, which is JAWS Read Line, it
will say Press Control-Numpad 5. This enables Jaws users to learn
Window-Eyes at their own pace.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] new insert mode in Window-eyes
My friend is a Jaws user and has been invited to do some voluntary work at
the college he attends. They have asked if he would like to teach basic IT
skills to students and their plan is to use Window-eyes as it comes free
with Office 10. He is a little overwhelmed when he saw how many Window-eyes
hotkeys there are.
As he is teaching IT skills and basic navigation, I'm wondering whether he
could get round this problem by enabling the new insert mode in Window-eyes,
which I am presuming simulates Jaws keystrokes?
