Alex, this is in no way off topic as it's to do with access technology, smiles. Anyway you can try http://www.thetrainline.com. I've successfully purchased tickets from their, with no issues. However, there's an apparent bug in Firefox whereby you can only seem to go as far as checkig the availability, then the page will load blank, with or without the virtual cursor. However, if you're using Internet Explorer then the site works fine. Hope that helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: <alex.thynne@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi I'm planning a trip fairly soon, and I went up to national rail's websitefor the journey planner. I have not been up there recently, and although Ifound the trains I wanted, I couldn't fathom how to use the ticket purchasing options. The site has changed allot since I was last there and wondered whether anybody has an alternative where it is easier to look atthe options and get the best deal. Sorry if this is a little off topic, ifit should go on another list, then I'll happily join it and pose the question there. If the web isn't a viable way to go, do listers prefer touse the telephone to purchase tickets instead? I don't want to get them onthe day as I'm sure I can get cheaper deals.
