Hi Linda,

This is from my experience as a Talks user.  There doesn't seem to be a
setting to allow you to do what I think you want to do.  In the Calendar,
under Options > Settings, you can set the view to either day, week, month or
to-do.  That's about it.  Under month view it'll highlight days with events
scheduled, but won't read the actual events themselves.

I've been looking for an alternative accessible calendar program myself that
has features such as conflict highlighting, etc.
