Hi Henry,

They are certainly portable to move around the house, but if you take them
elsewhere, you have to connect them to each Wi-Fi point.

All the best

Steve

If you have an Apple Music account you can in fact play music directly from
the cloud using the Sonos app. Although there is no Bluetooth connection you
can also use the Sonos app to play music downloaded within the Apple Music
app from an Apple device like the iPhone or iPod. Even better you can play
music direct from the Spotify app to Sonos devices. Sadly, no other app
works directly with Sonos devices apart from the Sonos App itself of course.
Audio from other apps won't play to a Sonos device unless you physically
connect the iDevice. Play One speakers do not have an input audio jack
although other Play speakers do and so does the Connect.

What I was trying to say was that you can link Sonos with your Apple Music
library. This will of course include any of your iTunes music you have
uploaded. To do this, you have to have an Apple Music account. It perhaps
should also be pointed out that you don't need to use iTunes to play
musiEven better now you can use the Spotify app on an I device c from your
computer. All these things are better explained in Jonathan Mosen's book
about Sonos.

Hi,

There is no facility that I'm aware of that you can link Sonos to Apple in
the cloud.

Yes you can. You can play either direct from your PC or from your Apple
Music account in the cloud.

Hi Jackie
Many thanks for the confirmation.  Therfore, one more question, can you play
music from ITunes via either a Mac or PC through the Sonos system?
Kind Regards

Hi Henry

Not Steve, but yes that is true.  You can connect them wirelessly or wired,
and you can purchase something called a Boost if you want to put speakers
somewhere with a dodgy signal.

Kind regards,
