If you already have a good sound system, it is arguable whether you actually
need a Sonos system. In our case, we were starting from scratch so Sonos was
the ideal route for us. My experience is that the sound from any of the Sonos
speakers is perfectly acceptable. If you are not interested in the multi-room
capabilities of Sonos, then it probably isn't your best speaker solution.

Hi Janet
As I say, it is very subjective. I haven’t heard Sonos yet though it is my
intention to do so when I go to Scotland next month and stop by a John Lewis
store.

Hi Jackie
my reason for asking is that although I have a sound bar my telly isn’t very
basey and I was wondering if getting these speakers might help.

Hi Janet
No, you don’t have to use them for TV at all. You can buy a Sonos Bar for
television, but you don’t have to. The app primarily controls the speakers.

forgive a stupid question but would the sonus speakers work for the telly only?
