Hi everyone, I'll make this as on topic as I can. I remember saying I'd let you all know how i got on with the interview for my 2 week work placement with the Ipswich Borough Council? Well, i had the interview today and I've heard, via e-mail, that I'm being offered the placement! I'm very happy about this. I won't start until 23rd August as the economic development team will liase with their IT department with concerns to what I need and plus how zoomtext can be incorporated into my tasks I'll perform. i explained all that I learnt here with my previous question and I think that may have gone some way into me being seriously considered for the work placement. THey did say that they work from 14" monitor screens. not really great news but, I said that it'll be OK, it's manageble for zoomtext although, a larger screens are much better. I've been told at RNIB loughborough that the minimum screen size for magnfication should be 17" and no lower. WEll, I'm hoping they may well find a larger monitor from somewhere, or, I may well need to rely more on the screen reading portion of zt if, i have to use a 14" monitor. It's only for two weeks and as, it not being a job and access to work can't come into play, I'll have to make every accomodation I can for that short period of time. Just thought I'd let the list know of the out come. thanks for reading this. Justin ** Going on holiday and want to halt messages?
