Hi Andy Well I listened to the voice over on the iphone in store and with the volume turned up I could hear it but as I said in another post I prefer a male voice as my hearing loss doesn't let me hear high frequency sounds all that well hence why a male, deeper voice is better for me. Let us know how, with your hearing impairment you get on with it. I too have a hearing loss and plan to put an Ipod Touch to the test on Sunday at my local store, I need to know if I can hear voice over clearly enough, both with hearing aids, and through headphones, and i want to know how much I can crank it up for music with headphones. - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Deborah Palmer" <deborah.hoptroff@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, February 11, 2011 1:39 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: mobile phones question > What about people who have a nearing impairment and find the Iphone voice > difficult to hear, as I do as it is a female voice and I understand that > at > present you can't change the default voice that is the reason why I am > reluctant to go down that road at the moment as I can't hear it all that > well. > So please can people stop being sarcastic and answer the questions in a > civilised and helpful manner or keep quiet > > Debbie > > > -----Original Message----- > From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf > Of > Jim Williams > Sent: 11 February 2011 12:41 > To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [access-uk] Re: mobile phones question > > Dave, > > Why can't people ask a quite legitimate question without it > being put down by a sarcastic comment?
