Sounds like a blocked pop-up. The default sound is a tiny click, though
I've changed mine. Pressing shift enter instead of enter should make these
links come up in a new browser window.

This is quite posssibly a really stupid question but I will ask it anyway. On most websites I have no trouble at all, but on a few sites recently I find that the links do not seem to work. the only way I can describe it is that Jaws gives out a lower clicking sound than it normally does when a good link is found. Is this a damaged or broken link, or is there a way of accessing such links that I don't know about.
