[access-uk] missing dbx files?

hi folks,
after a format, i have found that my OE .dbx folders are not where they
should be.
Before, they were at: c:\documents and settings\billy inglis etc.
Now they are no longer there, and i haven't a clue, where they are.
Surely, they must be somewhere?.
