John
I have used a syringe for measuring medicine for Children. You have to get a
notch put in the plunger of the syringe and pull it out to the notch. I
usually had the notch put at 5 mil but my dog is on a liquid medication and
that notch is at 3 mil. You would need sighted help for this but after that
you would be able to measure the liquid yourself.
Hope that helps
Jo

Subject: [access-uk] measuring liquids
Hi everybody, does anyone know of an accessible way of measuring small
quantities of liquid? The only measuring aids I've ever heard of or come across
are for measuring relatively large quantities. A measuring spoon wouldn't be
any good, as I'd be measuring out of a bottle, need to be accurate and don't
want spillage or to have to gauge level with my finger, which I'd usually do
with liquids.
Hope someone can help,
thanks,
John.
