hello yusuf,

yes i was refering to the ammount of power that is used to run the
bluetooth that is built into the PDA.
when reading messages on some pocket pc communities people were saying that
the battery life of there ipaq's had been reduced to not much over 2 hours
when using it with a bluetooth gps receiver.
whereas with the wired one used with the current trekker you will know that
you get between 6 and 8 hours.
just over 2 hours is far to short a time to be of real use.
i saw a couple of bluetooth receivers at sight village, one of which had
about 4 hours of battery life, and the other being rechargable and
apparently approaching 12 hours of life on a recharge.
these were both neat little devices, but not of much use if the ipaq's
battery would run out after a couple of hours when used in conjunction with
them.

pete.
