Hi,
Yes, I agree it seems to be much more stable now.

Since I installed it last weekend, I've only had the VO silence issue after one
call. So I'm hoping Apple has actually fixed it.
For me, the other bugs like focus jumping around in the email & message lists
don't seem to have been resolved. The update does seem stable though & I
haven't noticed any serious issues, so might be worth giving it a try. HTH.
Regards,
LU

Yep, I believe 13.2 is out now. I haven't really heard any reports though on
whether the bugs are fixed, and Angie is still holding off. 😊

Importance: High
just had an e-mail from one of my other lists, to say that there is now another
IOS update out, which seems to address the losing speech issue and a number of
others. it is not completely bug free, but the remaining issues seem to be only
minor ones, according to the initial info.

I doubt it, Android 10 is very stable and works very well. So maybe in
your scenario, they have swapped programmers. <Big Smile>.

Only time you can go back is if apple is still signing the older version.
They could do this if they had an urge but what do they care! Maybe
this release was sanctioned by an android fan!!!

Hi Martin,
Yes, I looked after posting. Unfortunately it looks to me as though
you can't go back now once you've upgraded.
Sorry if I mislead you there.

Yes, I've done this before but unfortunately I can't because I was
running an early version of v12 and this is no longer available.

Now here, I definitely agree. You can reinstall it for a shortbutton.

I think that Apple should allow v12 to be re-installed. v13 is
shocking, lots and lots of bugs.

Since all the problems with iOS 13 are mounting up, it's hard to
respond with anything positive. This is a really bad release,

Welcome to iOS 13. It's the crappiest update I have ever seen of
iOS.
Makes me feel good to be an Android user.

For the last couple of weeks or so, when I end a phone call it
often results in me losing speech on my iPhone. Is anyone else
having this problem? Even asking Siri to enable Voiceover doesn't
help and the phone loses all its usual navigation noises.
My husband has come to my aid and can usually get things going by
disabling and re-enabling Voiceover but today it was particularly
difficult so I had to leave him with it.
I don't know what he's done but I've come home to a very
oddly-behaving iPhone which is offering voice bars to expand or
minimise and keeps saying "try" and speaking a screen when I

I suspect he has been playing around with the settings. If I do a
reset, will this lose all the apps I have downloaded?
Alisonp.s. it is a 6 SE with the latest IOS settings.
