If I get one with windows 8 installed I'd only have to buy windows 7 as surely it is not free so probably saving myself some money in the long run. The pc I am getting doesn't have anything else installed on it, I have checked, just windows 7, I may have a few extras but who cares, they can be easily removed or up-dated if you need to do that. I prefer windows 7, don't really want to learn a new operating system just now, in spite of it being windows 8, better the devil you know. So many people have got windows 8 and had to go back to 7 so why go through all the hassle? Just my point of view. Look, this sounds dum perhaps, but why not pick up a Windows 8 machine, wipe it clean of its preinstalled OS and just put Windows 7 on it. Not only will you get a clean installation of Windows without the fluff that usually accompanies laptops, most of the laptop manufacturers offer Windows 7 downloads of the drivers and support software your computer needs. There are some excellent deals on at the moment from the likes of PC World, Amazon and ebuyer so it might be worth putting the time and effort in to doing this yourself, copies of Windows 7 can be had for around £70 or less if you know where to look. All the best, Ibrahim.-----Original Message----- From: Shane Harris

The only problem is that delivery takes between 4 to 8 weeks. Cheers Shane On 03/01/2014, Adrien Collins <adriencollins22160@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Hi I have been searching around for a laptop, I know the

I am searching for, I have stuck to a budget of £400, very difficult to find one unless you want windows 8. I prefer windows 7, Intel, 2 GHz processor or higher, 4 or higher
gb
ram, believe me, they are very difficult to find. I have found one and will be ordering on Monday, it is a Lenovo essential b590, there are other windows 7 laptops around
but
are much higher than £400. If anyone is looking for a laptop, I will let you have the specs. Regards Adrien ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following
