Interesting! The first H.P. laptop that I had lasted about eighteen months
and I didn't use it all that much either during that time. Never got
another. My next one was an Acer just like this desktop that I am using at
the moment and that is still working fine though I have only had it around
eighteen months at the moment. Hopefully though this one will hold up a lot
longer than the last one I had.

Pcworld is not possible as we are abroad but the makes you
mention are all very good but we would not go for another hp
laptop, mum's present one has only lasted just over 2 years,
just one of those things, you get some good and bad ones.

Acer, Samsung, Toshiba all have models starting at around
the £300 mark,
sometimes less. Also look at HP, in fact a trip to your
local PC World or
Curries might be a good idea.
