really don't make it easy to find!

Hi Alex,
Which screen are you in when you want to log out? I.e. are you in your own
profile or in a Facebook message or where. If you can explain which bit of
FB you're in when you want to log out, I'll see if I can replicate the steps
with Jaws and help to find you a solution.
