yup one end into a free port on your router and one end into the ethernet port
on yoru computer, wait 5 or 10 seconds and it will grab an IP from your router
and be connected to your ISP automatically.

Hello. I wanted to know, if I wanted to connect my Computer to the internet
using a Ethernet cable, from the computer to the router, what would I have to
do?
is it just a case of connecting both ends of the cable, or is there some
setting you have to carry out on the computer?
