You can get the latest version of messenger, version 9 from
http://get.live.com along with other live services. People have reported
mixed results and problems with various screen readers using this release
however, so my personal recommendation is that you use version 8.1,
available from the Microsoft download centre at
http://download.microsoft.com. Search for messenger and it will be the
first of the most popular downloads.
