Ok, are you using an android app or an Iphone app?
When you say "somewhat accessible" what can you not do re recording and
playing back programmes that you've recorded.

Hi Jim,
I use the 2TB box and it is somewhat accessible if you use it with a phone
app. It does have audio description and you can set up recordings with the
app. If you ask for an accessible remote, you have a dedicated audio
description button on it, so you can easily turn it on and off as well.

I've been making enquiries about the latest Sky Q 1TB box. I believe that
that it is not accessible. The lady at Sky accessibility team was very
helpful but it took her a while to differentiate between audio description
and speech output, smile.
I wonder if anyone on this list owns and uses this particular device.
Also, is there such a beast as an accessible dvr.
