Just my 2p worth here is that the BT 200 Big Button phone is worth a
listen. It is induction loop hearing aid compatible, has a very clear
speakerphone, and the audio of the caller can be boosted by 16db via a
button on the phone, or permanently via a switch underneath. I only
mention this as it's a very good value phone for what it is - although
RRP is about £30, you can usually get them new for about £20 or refurb
with full guarantee for about £12 inc P&P. However, this doesn't have
a seperate headset jack, but you could try getting an RJ9 /4P4C
compatible headset.

To answer the original question about headsets, if you get a phone
with the standard phone-sized 2.5mm jack, I can recommend the
Panasonic KX-TCA60 headset which I've been using for hours a day for
months now and very happy with it, especially under £12 inc postage.

Hi
Have you spoken to Action on Hearing Los, or to the RNIB, I use a phone with
an amplifier which I have on permeant loan through Deaf Direct. You need to
ask around in you local area.

Hi Jo,

I don't suppose you're on the BCAB email list are you? Over there, they've
been talking about the Panasonic KX-TG8562EB from Amazon on the following
URL.  This particular link takes you to a page For the 4 handset version
(note the model number on this page has a 4 as the third digit from the
end), but you can select 2  or 3 handset versions part way down the page if
you prefer (and if you do, the third digit from the end of the model number
will change accordingly):

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-KX-TG8564EB-Corldess-Telephone-Machine/dp/B007IZGDK6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458132062&sr=8

Or, if the URL is unmanageable, go to www. Amazon.co.uk and search for it by
its model number (see above). Another message in the thread states that
there is also a socket under the hand set to plug in headphones.

Hope this helps,
Clive
