To follow up on this though, we bought these scales some time ago. Firstly,
they are a lot more expensive despite their accuracy. Secondly, the battery
compartment in some Caretec products leaves a lot to be desired. Batteries
spring out when you put them in, making the device cut out. Our speaker also
went on the blink, so not 100% I’m afraid for me on these.
