Hi Gerry, You appear to have "Straight Quotes to Smart Quotes" turned on. The right quote should appear when you type the space AFTER typing the closing quote, be it a single or double quote. If all else fails, perhaps I can help you to turn them off, but have to nip out to the bank right now. George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gerald Locke Sent: 03 August 2009 14:22 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: keyboard change Hi George, Still in Word 2003, on opening paragraph, yes, that key press does give a left quote, then changes to apostrophe, and shift +, the at sign, but where is the right quote? Many thanks, Gerry. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
