This sporadic behaviour happens with me too. A work around I found is to
first open both applications the ones you are copying from and to, then copy
and paste text.

Hello to all
I am using Jaws 13 and nothing has been changed on my computer but I
have noticed over the past few days that when I have copied text it
tells me so but on pasting it over it doesn't tell me that it has been
copied from clipboard.
A few other people have told me the same thing so what's going on here ?
I am up to date with updates so can't think of why this is happening.
Any help would be good.
