Hi Caroline Yes, just after I sent that Email, Martin told me that there was a JAWS update which I accepted. I haven't visited Amazon yet, but will try it out as, like you say, the issue is meant to be addressed. Thanks for letting me know though. As I haven't experienced it myself, I can't say if the upgrade has done any good, but it might help you out. If I am on Amazon, for instance, JAWS will suddenly tell me the page is blank, and my only way out is to close Amazon and go back in again. This does not occur using Window-Eyes 9. I don't have a previous version of JAWS on my machine that I can revert to since my computer went for a makeover recently, and I haven't installed previous versions of JAWS. I don't particularly like 16, it doesn't seem to behave properly on the Internet. Anyone else noticed this? My husband and a couple of friends using similar configurations can replicate the problem. I haven't reported it though as it seems to fall on deaf ears, so why bother? For example, when I try to rout jaws to pc, (insert+keypad minus) I sometime hear jaws to pc, sometime no sound, sometime speech gets interrupted. Furthermore, when jaws is routed to pc, speech gets interrupted and I only hear the first part of the word etc. It is also quite difficult to move in the windows with insert+4 and 6. Even control+right/left arrows get stuck and cannot left or right click on any of the buttons. Using jaws13 on windows7. . ------------------- Thank you. Ali
