Hello Graham,

I have noticed some inconsistencies with the spell checker as well and have reported them to FreedomScientific if i remember correctly. Sometimes it will speak the miss-spelled word and other times it won't. If there are two words one after the other that are the same and it finds them, it won't speak the second one.

Hi all.
Sorry to cross post but I am having a problem with JAWS for Windows 6.1 and
the MS office 2003 spell checker. This is happening in Microsoft Word.
When
I press f7 I hear not in dictionary but I do not hear the word or the
spelling suggestions.
using insert f7 does not give this either.
I have had a couple of people saying they have this problem but I wonder if
anyone is able to get the spell check in Word to work propperly with Word
2003
spell checker? It does seem a glaring error to release JAWS with such a
fundamental component not working propperly.
Cheers
