Try this with the MacAfee firewall.

Do a Jaws serch for the word 'grant'[ then move to it with the jaws cursor.
By the way, I had to turn off the email scanning function as it kept screwing with my send and recieve.
I would not recommend the latest Macaffee anti virus to Jaws users.
Not sure on Window Eyes, but probably just as crappy.

Are you going on about McAfee's antivirus program, firewall or what? The
antivirus is ok with Jaws and its easy to configure. The firewall is
pretty inaccessible in my experience. I ditched it because I couldn't
access the settings that determine what applications have access to the
net and I couldn't access the dialog boxes that popped up after
installing new programs asking did I want to grant or deny them access
to the net. Never found a work around and JFW usually locked up till I
could enlist the help of someone who could see the screen to read the
dialog and press the right button.
