The thing that really gets me is, why does the sma go up in price after
three months from 125 to 175? That really angers me.

Why not check with S&S because they'll know if you're entitled to any
upgrades at reduced price. (I never keep track of their system and just wish
they'd send notification when items should be renewed, to take best
advantage of savings, but ...)
