Hi, I think you're right about the number of issues with it. I have turned it off for that reason. Historically, forms mode and virtual PC cursor mode were mutually exclusive, and I don't think trying to make them co-exist has quite worked properly yet. Please do report all issues to them. The more specific you can be, the more likely they are to realise. I think there could be an update fairly soon with some fixes from things I've reported about screen refresh problems. Overall it is a good version though! -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of alex thynne Sent: 23 November 2008 22:36 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: jaws 10 issues Hi interesting, I'll bear your suggestion in mind but after I posted my findings, I had a sought of brainwave, if you can call it that, and instead of doing control plus r on the message I had a problem with, I did shift control plus r, as if I was replying to all, and you'll never guess, it workdd! So there must still be some issues with this new feature. I have found another one though. You need to tab away from a form if you find yourself in autoforms mode, because if you don't, well if I don't, I can see what I've typed when doing google or other searches. I can see my history of searches if I try and get out of autoforms mode by trying to arrow away from the point I entered, so there is something else. For me, I think there are more problems with this feature than Freedom's belief that it would be the salvation of jaws users. Quite the contrary in my view. I know I can turn it off altogether if I really don't like it, of course I could do this if it really annoys me too much. When you get this problem, hit escape to return you to the original mesasge, then try alt and r again. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Hallsworth Sent: 23 November 2008 16:25 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: jaws 10 issues I'm not having this problem here with JAWS 10.
