Hi john.
Yes, jarte is an alternative word processor that works very well with most
screen readers. I do not have the link to hand as I am away from my pc, but a
google for jarte should bring up the website. Its a free download.
Cheers,
Mo.

Hi Derek
I loved it too, at the time. And yes, I had the Guardian Electronic
Newspaper, and the ability to use Teletext on it. Before that, I had
BBC Master, and a BBC Micro before that. At the time of using theBBC, I
worked as a PA to the Area Organiser in a Social Work Department. Ikept
filling up the BBC's memory, so some idiot from the then ManpowerServices
Commission decided to send somebody out to see if they could insertwhat
they called a sideways RAM board into the machine to give me a bitmore
memory. Well I went on holiday and thought no more about it. Onenight, my
boss rang me and said: "beThere's been a man in your office todaytinkering
about with your BBC, and you know what? There was smoke coming outof it."
Basically he blew it up, so that's when they got me a Master 128which I
also outgrew very quickly. I'll never forget that as long as I live.now
Yes, them were the days!!
It was all great, but I am glad to be using what we have available
despite all the hassles and anomalies it throws up.Behalf Of
