[access-uk] is there any such software that works with nvda on windows sp2 and will tell me something about a laptop?

hi all.
in my office i got to repare an old ibm laptop
the laptop has a 10gb hard drive with windows xpsp2 a 312 mb ram and a
750 mhz processer and i need to install the driver for network adapter
but i dont know anything about the laptop just know its made by ibm is
there any such software that works with nvda and windows xpsp2 that
will tell me the name and serial number of motherboard i tried belarc
adviser but it didnt tell anything please help
