Hi Alistair,
The one we got from Argos about three or four years ago was the Panasonic
KX-TG8561-EB. I can’t remember how easy it was to set up without sight, but
when the phone rings it does announce the numbers, or, of you’ve added a number
to your favourits, ‘Call from so-and-so’. Then there’s ‘Call From Unabailable’,
‘Call from international’ and ‘Call from withheld’, for those numberless calls.
Find out more at:
https://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/home-phones/telephones-with-answering-machine/kx-tg8561eb.html
Whether or not they’re still available from Panasonic, I did see some on Amazon
this afternoon.
Hope this helps.
Clive

I think you can buy a very cheap BT phone from Argos that will do this.

Hi folks, as above, I know my iphone does announce incoming numbers, is there a
means of doing this with our landline? if yes, where do I get it? Is it easy to
set up, etc?
Thank you!
