Hi Shea, Welcome to the list. Have you been in touch with the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind)? I would suggest that their Montreal office would be a good place to start, since just about everything over in that part of Canada is dual language - English/French. I'd be more than surprised if they don't have a mountain of material about using JAWS and PCs with both languages. I'm from Canada and a totally blind university student. I want to take a French course and am trying to find out the best way to get the technologies I have to work using French, both reading and writing. I have a laptop with Jaws 10 and Windows XP home and I also have a Pacmate Omni with a detachable Braille display. I have heard that you can get Windows international keyboards or use other commands that will do the French accents. I would love to hear any feedback from people that have used computers to read and write French. Thanks in advance for any information. Shea
