Hi
I will be there for a minimum of 6 months in one address so
I need something more permanent, not sure how the carers
would like me having a landline put in, I am only staying
temporary, I suppose I'd be better sussing things out first.

You do not need a landline for internet.
My sister comes to UK every few weeks.
While in UK she uses BT with her ipad for internet and
emails.
She is charged so much for each day she logs in.
