Hi Peter, No I can do the gardening as much as I like. I've got
another hobby which is woodworking, and they are saying no to me using
any power tools, as if I don't know what I'm doing.

I would suggest obtaining a copy of your tenants agreement on that
matter as , to my knowledge each housing association/authority may have
different clauses..
if yo have a good relationship with the association/authority concerned.
ask them for clarification.
