Hi Yusef,

Act quickly, or you will possible be charged storage. Trust
me, I'm almost an expert in this area.

All you need to do is e-mail or fax the freight forwarder
the following form duly completed. I hasten to add that
this is copied from HM Customs & Excise web page.

If they give you any rubbish about an unsigned e-mail, tell
them to get their act together, and look at the Customs &
Excise web pages.

I have copied the very long URL at the end of this message
where there is a Q&A including this form.

George.

Subject: [access-uk] importing maestro from canada

Hi all, I had a phone call from someone concerning my
maestro
which arrived in the UK yesterday. He said that he would email me the necessary forms so that I would be exempt
from
inport tax but I have not received them. Can anyone tell
me
who I need to ring? I had a look at the customs and exize site but couldn't find any useful info.

Any help would be much appreciated as my maestro is in
east
midlands airport at the moment until I sort out the import
situation.
Yusuf
