Hi, you can make one by running the make disk utility included with Image For Linux. You don't need to install Image For Linux. I've made one, but haven't had cause to use it, as I generally back up to DVD.

                   John.

A speaking Linux CD would be great.

Hi folks

A short while ago someone posted a link to a sound file which walked you
through backing up and restoring the PC system to a bootable CD/DVD media.
I'd be grateful if you could re-post the link or send to me direct.

There was also discussion on creating a bootable linux CD with speech. Was
this successful and if so can you post the instructions on how it was
achieved.

Thanks
Martin
