Not sure about searching for a song in the store, but the iTunes Store is
definitely there. Try pressing option-return after typing in your query. This
should directly search the iTunes Store from anywhere in iTunes, even beyond
the “music” media kind.

Hi,
I have just updated my iTunes and now I can not get to the store to find a
new song, I am using an iMac so it seems to me that the new update does not
work even on a MAC????
