I must tell you that I was in a Vodafone shop at the weekend, and my son and I
were discussing the IPhone. The chap in there didn't know how a blind person
could access the touch screen, so I told him about Voiceover. He went into the
menus, turned it on, and got himself completely hooked on it. He'd never heard
of any accessibility features for the device, and he was completely fascinated.
I'm warming to it myself! (smile).

Hi David,

Get yourself an iPod Touch, or something like that. It speaks itself, and you
don't need the iTell as the Cobolt one is called. It has a pretty dreadful
voice, and doesn't let you access all the features, whereas Voiceover built
into the Touch does.

All the best

Steve

Hi, I am a new member of this list and I wonder if any one can help me.
I see in the cobalt catalogue that they have a unit that can make an iPod
speak. I was wondering if any one has this and how it works.

David Weston.
