Just to clarify Tink's point. There is a slide switch on the back of the unit which can go in any one of three positions, these are off, ordered play or shuffle.

Damon,

This site seems to suggest that there is a button on the shuffle
which will let you switch to shuffle mode, so by converse I guess the same
switch puts it into play order.

Still waiting for mine to turn up, so can't offer any more help.

Tink.

Hi, Apologies I think this has been covered before.

Can you definitely set iPod shuffle so that it doesn't shuffle and you can
play things in whatever order you wish? And if so, how do you do this?

Thanks!
