Mark, the screen curtain does not turn off the screen, it reduces the
brightness to almost nothing but the screen continues to emit a small amount of
light. My belief therefore is that its power-saving potential is minimal.
Incidentally I’ve now discovered where messages from the list are ending up on
my home account. they’re going into junk which for the most part is a bit
harsh.

Hi all.
Does the screen curtain on the iPhone 6s simply turn off the display, or
does it literally display a pattern when activated?
I wondered if it could be used as a power saving feature if it simply turns
off the screen.
