Hi Eleanor,

Muting wouldn't stop VO from speaking, it would only mute the sounds.

All the best

are you sure you have not accidentally muted it? you might also like to check
the volume and you could do this by clicking in your headphones.

Hi listers,

I've just updated my 16gb iPhone 4S to iOs 8.02. Whilst Voiceover is active,
there is no voice. I've tried turning on/off Voiceover, no success. Any
suggestions/help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Mike
