Hi Eleanor and Carol.

The keyboard I sell will work with a wide range of devices including Nokia's and Android as well as the IPhone. Like the Apple keyboard, you have a row of function keys above the number row, so depending on what platform your using the keyboard on, those function keys will work differently.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Did Ibrahim say it was an Apple keyboard? I did not pick that up in what he
said. I picked up that it was an alternative keyboard.

Ibrahim,

Matter of interest and this could be a selling point - is this just as an Apple keyboard, or will it work with other items, so long as there's bluetooth?

Hi Jackie.

Oh, I'm just a dealer for the product, I was on the hunt
for a good Bluetooth keyboard for my IPhone and ruled out
the Apple version for those and other reasons, so when I
chanced on the one I'm selling now, I was just bowled
over by the quality of this keyboard not to mention the
size and other factors. As you say it boils down to
preference, but when you can get a product that is
functionally the same as the Apple keyboard and which
costs less, I know where I'd put my money "big smile".
All the best, Ibrahim.

Ibrahim, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter
so long as the user buys what they want and it suits
their needs. And when you say "my", are you selling it
second-hand or are you some sort of sub-dealer? If the
former, then buying the proper Apple keyboard is going to
give them a better warranty for starters. Anyway, as
they say, whatever, I'm too tired! (big smile).

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi Jackie.

Ahem, well lets break down your argument one step at a
time shall we? Firstly, mine is cheaper at £40 all in
where as Apple want £57 plus postage. Secondly, my
keyboard is made of lighter plastic, takes AAA batteries
and as a consequence is thinner. OK, Apple's is
certainly nicer cosmetically but has an ugly back end. Finally, the Apple keyboard has a button to turn it on,
pair it etc., where as the same is accomplished on my
model with a switch and recessed pairing button. I cant
count the number of times I've left my keyboard on, but
with the Apple keyboard I'd have no idea that it was on
unless I could see a light.
Just Three points that make my product better, but
whatever you say, its up to you at the end of the day.

All the best, Ibrahim.

No offence Ibrahim or Mike, but stick to the original as
it's well built and perfect for the purpose. Just our
opinions of course, (smile).

Jackie Cairns

Hi Mike.

I sell a keyboard which is very similar to the Apple
version, its just cheaper and in my opinion a better
product, but then I would say that as I sell it "smile". Let me know if you want details, the price is £40 and
I've sold about a dozen of the things so far, a very
popular product line of mine.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Mike, as I've always said when this topic has come up, I
recommend Apple's own Bluetooth wireless keyboard because
it has full numeric functionality. It doesn't fold, but
it is a lovely keyboard upon which to type, is
lightweight and sturdy.
Go to the UK online Apple website and type in Apple
wireless keyboard, and it should be your first choice.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi,

Can I please have some suggestions for a good quality
bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone. I am looking something
reliable, portible and reasonably compact to carry around.

Point me in the direction of any iPhone lists etc or
email me if you have anything like this for sale.

Many thanks,

Mike
