Or ask your provider to switch off your data when you hit the limit. Some
do this automatically.

Just a note to everyone who has updated to iOS9.



There is something called wi-fi assist, this provides cellular data support
when wi-fi is weak or too slow. If you don’t have a big data allowance, then
I’d suggest turning it off. Settings, mobile (you can check your data usage
here) but scroll right down below all the apps and you will find the wi-fi
assist button.



I just don’t want any of you getting a massive bill with Christmas being so
close <smiles>
